SKU: $0.00
See why the Lively Letters Phonemic Awareness and Phonics App has a 5-star rating and was one of the top ten apps for SLPs in 2017!  Learn how the app words and pick up key strategies and tips to make the most of this dynamic teaching tool. All who register will receive a recorded version of the training on the following business day. The week of the webinar you will receive an email titled "Final Registration Step..." (If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.) After completing that registration step you will receive the log-in instructions and a handout that you can print. If you would like to earn a certificate of attendance, you must attend the live event or view the recorded version within one week and complete and submit the evaluation by the designated deadline. One week after that deadline, we will send out the certificates to those who qualified.  Even though there is a deadline for getting the certificate of attendance, this recorded training can be viewed for 3 months. Presented by program authors Penny Castagnozzi & Nancy Telian, MS, CCC-SLP, this webinar provides a showcase of instructions on how to use the Lively Letters - Phonemic Awareness and Phonics App for iPad. We will demonstrate the three different activities, with instructions on how to implement each one. Along with the app instructions will be some of our key strategies for phonemic awareness and phonics, that can now be applied while using the app. We will be demonstrating using a series of short videos. We will walk you through how to use the Flashing activity to teach and drill letter sounds and speech production skills, using the Lively Letters recorded letter sound stories (English and Spanish)and the other features within that activity. For the Tracking activity we will show how to apply the classic Lively Letters tracking word play techniques while using the app. We will also show how to use the Matching game to help students transfer from picture cards to plain letter cards, and from lowercase to uppercase letters. There will be plenty of time for Q and A as well.  Speech pathologists can earn CMHs (Certification Maintenance Hours) for this course. Although they will not be automatically registered with ASHA, ASHA definitely does accept these hours towards the 30 hours needed for recertification. All an SLP needs to do is log the hours and hold onto the certificate we send, only sending that certificate to ASHA if you are audited by them.
