This popular informational webinar is presented by Reading with TLC co-founder and co-director, and Lively Letters author, Nancy Telian, MS, CCC-SLP, and by Reading with TLC co-founder, and co-director Penny Castagnozzi, who is also the author of Sight Words You Can See. This lively webinar offers an overview of Reading with TLC's Lively Letters with brief information shared about the Sight Words You Can See. See how you can use mouth cues, hand cues, colorful embedded letter pictures, music, engaging stories, and mnemonics to quickly teach letter sounds and the critical skills for decoding and encoding words for improved reading and spelling. This webinar illustrating how educators can implement these two Reading with TLC programs to develop phonemic awareness, speech, phonics, and sight word skills. Videos will be shared throughout the webinar. The presenters will touch upon some of the current research and the clinical studies that support the use of these programs. Those who watch the webinar and complete a brief evaluation survey will receive certificates of attendance for 1 credit hour. Certificates for on demand courses are sent out on a monthly basis. A general certificate of attendance will be awarded and SLPs will also receive a certificate that can also be used towards Continuing Maintenance Hours (CMHs) for those maintaining their ASHA certification. Certification maintenance hours are accepted by ASHA.
